כשעירים עלי דשא זו רוח מזרחית שמסערת את כל העולם כשעיר וכרביבים עלי עשב זו רוח דרומית שהיא מעלה רביבים ומגדלת עשבים

this is the north wind which makes gold flow,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' According to Rashi, because it dries up the produce and causes scarcity, so that corn has to be bought with money. ');"><sup>23</sup></span> and so it says: <i>Who lavish</i> [ha-zalim] <i>gold from the purse</i>.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Isa. XLVI, 6, tizzal, being taken from root zalal meaning both 'to flow' and 'to be cheap'. ');"><sup>24</sup></span>
